Oke everyone, today in 7th day of Ramadhan I would like to share to all of you about Istinja. Let's read yaa guys this is my essay in my class yaa :D :)  

How to do Istinja Base on Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW

Islam is religion that love cleaning. Islam also religion that is broughted by Prophet Muhammad SAW. Base on Islam, Prophet Muhammad tought his ummah for doing istinja before doing pray. Istinja is disappear of feces and defiling filth after take a dam and take a pee. Doing istinja is simple, but although simple we have to be carefull. The are several steps for doin istinja base on sunnah of prophet Muhammad; firts using left hand, second clean and wash the place of feces until clear, and third wash hand with water until disappear the substance or the smell of feces.

First, using left hand. Prohibited for moslem doing istinja using roght hand. Because we know that right hand is for doing good something, for example for greating, say hello, and of course most of people eat with right hand. So that’s way prophet Muhammad tought his ummah for doing istinja with left hand and prohibit his ummat eat using left hand. As moslem we have to follow his footsteps. Because the guidline for moslem people are Al-Qur’an and Sunnah (footsteps) of prophet Muhammad. So dan’t using right hand for istinja, but left hand !!! 

Second, clean and wash the place of feces until clear. We need to do it right guys but of course in toilet hehe.. that’s is primary thing that must we do after take a dam or take pee. So that’s way Allah loves people who like cleaning, base on this ayat :

إن الله يحب التوابين ويحب المتطهرين (البقرة: 222)

About cleaning also admonitioned by prophet Muhammad in his hadits that he said cleaning is partly of iman. So that’s way prophet Muhammad tought his ummah for doing istinja clearly. Because clear an clean is one of requiered thing before doing pray.

 Third, wash hand after istinja with water until disappear the substance or the smell of feces. For cleaning and washing hand, actually prophet Muhammad combine with ground on times, and after that with water three times. But because we left in modern era, I think we don’t need ground, but we can change it wtih soap. That’s more practice I think, because the goal fo do this step is for disappear the substance or the smell of feces in our hand.

In conclusion, doing istinja is commanded by Islam, and prophet Muhammad tought us how to do istinja well. Why doing istinja well is important because we need to cleen from big hadas or small hadas cause that’s the requiered thing before doing pray. Some ways for doing istinja base on sunnah are using left hand, clean the place of feces and wash hand till clear such as explained above. Hopefully this essay can help us for doing istinja well base on sunnah of prophet Muhammad SAW. Aamiin ya Robb....
